Born and raised in London (then Kent), I moved to Cambridge for university, bringing my husband with me. I hold a BA in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Poetry from Royal Holloway, and currently work as Assistant Editor for Boydell and Brewer covering the Lutterworth and James Clarke imprints.
Current large projects:
- In May 2026 I began a fantasy fiction project which uses cyborged dragons (and humans) to critique generative AI. It currently sits at 55,000 words as of 30/9/26
- Last year I wrote a 90,000-word fantasy novel centred around the idea of Leviathan; both as a Hobbesian trope of power and as a physical monster, and how sometimes the greatest enemies come from within.
Publications:
- Selections from my MA collection have been published by Hazel Press
- A review of mine on Malcolm Guite’s Galahad and the Grail is awaiting publication on the Heart of Flesh Literary Journal website
Prizes:
- Won the Barbara Wrigley Prize for Poetry in 2020
- Came second in the Cambridge Language Collective French Creative Writing Competition in 2022
- Shortlisted for the Littoral Press Competition in 2021
